Chucktown Acres is a working, regenerative farm located just outside of Charleston, SC. The farm raises grass-fed/grass-finished beef, forested pork, soy-free eggs, and pasture-raised poultry. The farmers at Chucktown Acres are dedicated to growing bio-diverse food that heals both the land and the community.  The Chucktown Acres website rightly boasts that their practices are, "...More than organic and more than sustainable, we are regenerative in our approach to food production."  as the organization employs farming practices that will enrich and restore the rapidly eroding topsoil supply here in the Lowcountry.  Palmetto Tide Shrimp and Seafood Company are proud to offer a selection of meats sourced by Paul Galmitz from these progressive, regenerative eco-caretakers, who also just happen to have the best tasting meats in the area!

COME AND VISIT

Palmetto Tide Shrimp and Seafood Company offers Mount Pleasant simple, hand-sourced and butchered fish, beef, pork, and poultry along with select culinary accoutrements like unique local sauces and seasonings.  Surrounded by 150 acres of farmland beside the busy Highway 17 stands Willie’s Roadside Market, an open-aired, timber-framed structure. This rustic, farm-style building is a new addition to Boone Hall.


Palmetto Tide sets up shop at Willie’s Roadside Market and operates seven days a week, 10:00am until 5:30.  Early visitors are encouraged to come often and take advantage of the fresh produce and unique offerings.
